Lightbulb AirBP CRJ1000

inspired by Harris' pics of his airbp a380
http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...80-air-bp.html

I decided to go with the brand ID. It's fresh and contemporary. Perfect for a stretched aircraft like the CRJ1K. Great timing as I was finishing up my blank~

Thanks Ferrari~ No other corporates planned for this airframe. Recently completed a Lear 60XR, Grumman G650, and fantasy G750 airliner... check out my blog to check 'em out. Lots of other corp jets there!

Right now, have moved onto some Boeing and Airbus airframes....look for them soon~

I love this one! I think this is one of my favorites from you. I just like the overall design and colors. Great plane too. Thanks for sharing!

IMO the template is the most important part of the development. It takes a lot of time and investigating to get the level of detail you require. While I can appreciate efforts to design a scheme...it's all in the template with tones of grey, black, white, contouring, etc. Next comes the layout. That's just as much fun. Depending on the subject, a complex or simple background needs to determined. Sometimes very clean, others; the kitchen sink goes in!
As for the doing the art, for me it's a hobby, and for a while an Ebay store. I might go back to Ebay in the future. For now, I sell prints off my blog. It seems to be working.

Thank you BoeingFlyer, my sketches are far from perfect, but keeping the vectors tight helps!...but my work is far from perfect. Still lots to learn.
As for the CRJ 1000 airframe; Bombardier really outdid themselves with their new flagship. The worlds biggest lawn dart! I came across the prototype construction photos. I believe the 1000 started out as a 900.

You should check out JP Santiago and AirDars work over at Airlinebuzz...they've given me some valuable feedback and are amazing aviation artists.

Here's one more: (The new Delta Air Lines scheme has not been a favorite, but it has grown on me a bit.)...so here you go, a Delta Skyteam CRJ1000-

Wow, the Delta is awesome too. It is kind of funny that supposedly the -1000 started off as the -900. Classic mix-up (from the movie The Hangover)

Hi Ferrari,
I don't give away my © work. Too much time and energy invested to develop them. I post here to encourage new artists to develop their own work and style, not just download and paint a blank. I do understand that some artists are limited by software and have made suggestions.
However, If you want to use the published work for an avatar or signature line w/my logo, no problem. You can also use the large pics for ref to pattern your blanks though, or link an image from my blog if that helps. Thanks for asking.

Herb-
