If you still want the word airline in it, you could write "Die Airline für Deutschland" (the airline for Germany) or "Die Airline aus Deutschland" (the airline from Germany) or maybe "Deutschlands größte Airline" (Germany's biggest airline).

I hope, I could help you a bit. BTW: If you need help with German in the future, you can ask me :P
Danke!!! hahaha I probably will put "Deutsche Lufthansa" on it!! but first I need to know what tail design is better:

1)

2)

3)

I still need to do the A380 and a LH cargo MD-11...

You're welcome.
I like the first one best, but the third one isn't bad as well.

For registration, you could use e.g. "D-ABVK", but with "VK" on the tail (it's always the last two letters, because the first two just tell you, which aircraft it is...)
Alternatively, you can use anything starting with "D-ABV..."

Oh, you're right, I just realised, that it wasn't incorrect, but the letters on teh tail have to be the last two of the registration code.

Paint? ROFL!

I just realised another inaccuraty. The font you are using is not the right one. The "a" is wrong. Now something, you simply can't know:
Nearly everywhere in Germany, they use a special font, named "DIN 1451 Mittelschrift". I uploaded it for you. You should use it for the next picture

Very nice! Lufthansa definetly needs a livery-update! Some very nice proposals you have there!

I like the one with the circle best - but you'll have to find a way to include the whole birdie...

As "hitanykeytocontinue" mentioned earlier "Deutsch Airlines" and "Deutsche Airlines" are both not correct. I would kick the German language out of the livery and add "German Airlines". With English being the main language worldwide it would be easier that way to identify Lufthansa as the airline from Germany.

Lufthansa is a German airline and everyone knows this. If they use German words for the plane, it would just underline, that they are from Germany. Using English for advertisement etc. wouldn't bring them very far. Think of Volkswagen (saying "Das Auto" even in the UK) or Audi ("Vorsprung durch Technik" everywhere in the world). And thanks to the internet, it's really not difficult to find out what it means.
I would write "Deutsche Lufthansa", because it's the actual name.

With all respect - I have to disagree! Aviation fans may know that but the normal passenger out there doesn't.

ccs757 is looking for a parallel title to go with the main "Lufthansa"-titles. You don't want to write "Lufthansa - Deutsche Lufthansa" onto the fuselage, do you???

But does the normal passenger really care?

Good point, mate. How about "There's no better way to fly." then? They use it in their ads and on their website.

The normal passenger may not care - but still: Adding "German Airlines" is a piece of necessary information to show where "Lufthansa" originates from. As you stated earlier: "Made in Germany" seems to be a distinctive quality feature worldwide. So why not show off a bit? But in English language.

"There's no better way to fly" is a catchy phrase for ads and commercials, but much too long to put it on the fuselage of an aircraft.

These are just great, but shouldn't the tail be VU as the registration is D-ABVU and not D-AVBU? I like the first one, with the "birdie" on the fuselage . And maybe move the words "Deutsche" before Lufthansa and place the crane after the word "Airlines". That way you have the full word "Deutsche Lufthansa Airlines" as per the wishes of our German DAC-ers . (And no birdie on the winglets, perhaps just grey winglets as the original LH jets)

Lufthansa regional isn't the same as Lufthansa.

Lufthansa regional some kind of trademark for a collection of 5 different German airlines, but none of them is Lufthansa. So Lufthansa regional wouldn't fit at all.
