Default A new airline-r

Hey Everyone,
I was just wondering, if you could have your own airline, what would it look like?(please post piuctures) What planes would be in your fleet? What airports would be the hubs for your airline?
What would be the name of your airline?

I have (or had) a virtual airline that I created. The hubs were New Orleans and Tampa. I called it American Southeast Airlines. It's colors were orange and white. I made timetables, route maps, and even painted a few aircraft for flight simulator. I'll post the aircraft drawings when I can find them. Meanwhile you can look at the site while I search. As you can tell from the name, the routes were stretched out along the Atlantic coast and the carribean, and of course, the south.

Visit the site before Jan. 1 2004. I think that is when it gets shut down. The idea has died down alot.

Where and how do you start a virtual airline?
Do you need a program?

I'm not quite there yet. A few more years and I might find myself at Daytona Beach.

Really, to start a virtual airline you need an idea. A website could help. I website could really help. All you need to do is pick a flight simulator, collect a group of people, communicate with them and you should be set. go to www.livewireairlines.com for a great example. I think the hardest thing to find are the people interested. There are thousands of virtual airlines. New ones are popping up every other day. It takes alot of work. If you have the commitment, you can pull it off. Oh yeah, you also need time, lots of it.

No money required, unless you need a top-notch site.
