My DragonWings 1:400 A321, reg. B-2290, cools down on the apron for routine maintenance. It added four more waypoints in China to my A-T-W journey. She is in deferred maintenance for a while awaiting a conversion to 'wheels up' configuration.
China Eastern then capped off an interesting tour off by a handoff flight to Osaka, Japan. That in itself was interesting. Kansai / Osaka KIX is a man made island in Osaka Bay. Not unlike a carrier landing without a tail hook.
The around-the-world die cast journey continues with Korean Air.
Cool. Just discovered I can add a Google earth
image of my flight path. Should help you better understand my A-T-W adventures. To the left of the image, some of the flight paths B-2290 took me on in China are visible. The purple path is the non-die cast scheduled flight that brought me from Ulan Bator, Mongolia to Beijing. // ArnoldC]
Cheers, and happy collecting, ArnoldC.
