Just before Christmas, December 2007, I was at my gate in Frankfurt heading for Incheon, Seoul.

At first glance I thought it was D-AIHB standing there! ‘Ah, ravishing, how nice’ I thought, because HB is the initials in my name. But when I came closer…, eh, it was the D-AIHD.

Three weeks later when I was flying back to Europe again…, at the gate in Incheon I moved slowly towards the LH346, and… yes there it was….. D-AIHB!

A bit daft but I had a dark blue t-shirt with Luftansa logo on, the crew noticed that and they were really gentle and nice because of this. When we arrived Frankfurt after 12.30 hrs, they gave me all the flight maps from the cockpit from D-AIHB’s journey that day from Frankfurt-Seoul-Frankfurt. It was very nice and cool done.

Good story, Hotel Bravo. I shall try to remember when I fly with Lufthansa and wear my LH shirt as well. Maybe I get lucky just like you.

That’s cool! I searched but couldn’t find the thread and haven’t seen it before, couldn’t you place a link to the t-shirt shop Rex?

Easy,
my favourite airframe, seen it a thousand times and worked on it.

Moreover, Phantom is a catchy screenname, isn't it?

Azuddin777

Azuddin - my real given middle name

777 - Not really related to B777 since I'm a 757 fan. 777 is refer to my lucky number which include my football jersey number, the 7 winning streak, 7th best student in the district and a lot more. "Number 7" is also my nickname during college year.

Hmmm...I took "Justin" and added an "Oh".

In Puerto Rican Spanish - "Whostino!"
In Peruvian Spanish - "Joostino!"
In German - "Joooosten."
In English - "Just-een-O"

Haha

Thats how everyone at work says my name or nickname.

I generally greet people by calling them 'groovers' as in 'Hi groover(s)', which implies that they are groovy. 158 because it is the number of the home that I lived in at my favourite place that I have lived. In fact I still own the house despite now living elsewhere.

When I was a kid my father was the medical doctor at a tiny military base in the ecuadorian jungle. The only way to get there was by airplane.

So, my first flight at 1 yo was on a FAE (Fuerza Aerea Ecuatoriana / Ecuadorian Air Force) DC3.

Just like this one :http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=141060&nseq=1

Ok, I am a little late to the thread but.... about a year ago a group of us were securing financing to start an airline and it was going to be called Peak Airways, unfortunately the economy took a dump and we were left high and dry. But at least I still have the name.
