Yes - since yesterday evening (GMT) and right now. This is with full Fibre Broadband connection etc etc. It's been excruciatingly slow posting/loading threads. Also got a host connection time-out.

Yes, site is very slow for me here in Europe since 5 days.
Retrieving of thread/post but also to log out take very long.

Ditto here in Canada. Bringing the DAC up, trying to log in and navigating/posting does take a little longer the past week or so. Cheers! T7

Very slow to load up here in the UK. Sometimes it times out and you have to press refresh.

It’s just taken 4 minutes to load this reply.

Today is a very very slow day here in Holland (The Netherlands, Europe) takes about 20 to 30 seconds before the page and messages loads..

Same here (US East Coast).

If anyone tech/IT is looking: I was receiving cloudflare CDN errors, which seem to point to the diecastaircraftforum origin (504 gateway timeouts).

Unfortunately I don't have any screenshots right now, but will add if I do get any more errors.

Maybe they changed the security level of the server.

I'm being blocked from accessing this site from China. Only can access it using a VPN.

Running a tool to clear up any server cache issues that might be causing the slow down, but glad to hear it's already doing better for some. Let me know if anyone is still having any difficulties

Hey there,

Can you provide us with a couple examples of the threads where you have experienced slowdown?

Thank you,
~Richard.

The thread about the HM Harrier is too big for my screen, but isn't slow. The site in general however, is slow to connect & to load threads.

Hi Richard, over the last week site performance on my end has been awful! It keeps buffering when a thread is selected and then throws a 404 error code. Once I get back to the site will let me make one choice and the first choice is fine. After that I get error codes when making another selection! So I have to leave the site and come back each time!?

Hmm I also had a Database Error just a moment back, dunno what is causing it, could be latency issues or just connection troubles with the server or the clients.

Hey there,

Thanks again for all the info.
I'm still unable to replicate these issues.

Is this happening on desktop? What browsers are you using?
Is this happening only when you first access the site/a specific forum?

~Richard.

Happens on both my laptop & phone- Firefox on laptop, Chrome on phone. Slow to access the site, & some threads are too big to fit the screen without scrolling side to side, while others are not.

The HM SU-57 & HM Harrier threads are too big for my screen, but the HM catalogue & Herpa C-5 Galaxy threads are not.

Hey there,

I believe the thread you are mentioning is https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...r-su-57-a.html.
I am not seeing any issues from my end on that thread.

If that is not the thread, can you please provide links to the thread you have mentioned?

Thank you,
~Richard.

That thread starts off fine, but page 2 doesn't fit the screen. The harrier thread is too big from the beginning.

When I first open the site, it takes awhile to load, then it doesn't load the database error appears, I then hit refresh or close it an reopen the site again, it helps, same issue with Wings 900 too.

had same thing last few days. if its slow opening, it quits. other times you will click on a item or new post and it will go slow and quit to database error. if you press back arrow, it comes back to previous page.

Threads are still too wide for the screen, but it's all of them now after the first post of each thread- the first post fits, the replies do not. This particular thread is the only exception in that all posts fit the screen.
