Is it possible to change our member name? I remember it possible, but that was years ago. If it's possible, to whose attention do I direct a PM? Thanks.
Who are the mods on here? Aside from Crownvic/Russell? I don't want to bother him with this.
Bother?? really? no way sir is that a bother..Interesting I have been toying with the idea of changing my user name for sometime but have no clue or the authority on how to do so for myself or anyone else for that matter. I have contacted the administrator to find out how and if doing so changes your starting membership date. As soon as I know I will let everyone know..

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
"you're the gourmet around here, Ed!"

You're very kind, thanks! I know you're busy, not just with forum stuff, but with life in general. I believe it'll change the membership start date. My current start date is May 2011 and I've been on here longer than that (I think 2003). I changed my name from RandySF and when that happened the membership start date reset.
I still haven't sorted out what I want to change my member name to.
Why would you want to change your name Randy????????? or anybody else?
My user name is based on what was a very popular law enforcement car from the 90's and at the time of joining here I was hooked on. Fast forward to today and its just about disappeared from the automotive scene. It has little to no relevance to me anymore.

Agent RJ5: Starting in 2010 or thereabouts, I was majorly collecting models of KLM aircraft and whilst I still love the colours of KLM (and would like to own a KLM 747 model), my interest has shifted toward Virgin Atlantic. And as much as I love Virgin Atlantic, their livery isn't any better than some of the other modern liveries. What makes it special (to me) is the pearlescent white and ruby red paint. I still favour classic airliners, airlines, and liveries more than anything, because that's what I grew up seeing.

I was thinking the other day about the "old days" on this forum - which I know I shouldn't live in the past, but sometimes when I see an older model or models, it takes me back. One of the things I miss from those times are your poolside photos "crownvic style."

Thanks ,it was a beautiful home but the kids grew up and I did not need such a big house and downsized.
For the newbies here, I used to take dozens of sample photos by the swimming pool for all to see.

Before any of you throw rocks at me as I don't collect airline models , if I did I would collect Virgin Atlantic for this very same reason. No connection to the airline at all other than that sick color scheme!

I've had a fondness for this airline for years. And I've been fortunate enough to fly them 7 times since 2017. They have a fun, cool vibe (in fact, one of their 747s had a registration G-VIBE) that other airlines seem to lack. Virgin America was the same way.

Sounds like a great way to fly other than the cattle car experience I usually get.
Just Saturday I was visiting my friends diecast and hobby shop and he had a couple of Virgin Atlantic models, a 1/200 and a 1/400. I must admit, I was tempted to get one!
