Default For Sale Section...Changes

I hope everyone is happy with the change made to the for sale section as the endless list of eBay sales and models for sale that were years old, have been eliminated. Those were taking up 3/4 of the page...it took me a while, but I finally got it removed!

What I can't figure is why eBay sale references are allowed at all. We all know how to find them. Why shouldn't the For Sale section be limited to straight DA.C sales? Doug

Doug, from selling both on Ebay and DA.C it is just easier to create the Ebay listing and reference it here. This helps the seller/DA.C members communicate through this site when doing off-Ebay deals. It also helps alleviate the need to send duplicate pictures. Ebay monitors messaging! I've been slapped down by Ebay in the past for off-line deals! I do agree though that the DA.C for sale section should be limited to participating DA.C members. It shouldn't simply be a sign up and start referencing Ebay listings without some participation. Just my 2 cents from the perspective of doing both.

Thanks Crownvic for cleaning that up - that must have been a bit of tedious work involved there lol.

I want to clarify some potential confusion here. We did not do away with posting an ebay sale thread. I myself will post models I occasionally sell on ebay with a posting and a link.

What was eliminated was all the listings on the home page of the for sale and trade page that took up 3/4 of the page with listings that were both ebay and models for sale that were months and even years old. One particular area eliminated was the Today on Ebay listings...
