Hi all,
just a suggestion for the admins of this site. Everything is great however I am finding it a pain to buy models, through no fault of your own. The forums are pretty good for it but I have come across several models on the database listed as available and I never get a response presumably through inactivity.

It would be great if you had some sort of newsfeed so that when a person lists a model as available that model goes to the top of the feed and when another person sets a model available that model then goes to the top of the list and so on.

I think it would be a great way to see what models are available and which members are active and also a great way to find some great models that you never even knew existed!

Sorry to say, but the database is broken, kaput!! its old technology and admin cannot fix it.

.... I have experienced the opposite. Someone wants a model and I answer back that "Sure, I'll sell it to you" and then it's silence. I realise that if I have something you want, you might be hesitant since you are in Cardiff (Wales is the only Cardiff I know) and I am on the other side of the pond in New York, USA. I will answer.

This is why over a DiMA we have enhanced our trade system to highlight those individuals that have recently updated their collection.

We have a color coding system, Active within 1 year = Green, Active in last 1-2 years = Yelllow, not active in over 2 years = Red

general rule CHECK when the seller was last active. if more than 18 months they will probably NEVER reply as they have probably left the hobby.

Would you please fix the DiMA database so that when 1:100 scale is chosen from the dropdown menu, the search results only provide 1:100 scale models and not 1:1000? Thanks!

Some Dima collection features I'd love to see added:
'Market value' estimate as well as the paid amount shown. (just like DA.C/W900 'my collection')
Those cool charts DA.C/W900 used to show 'summary' like comparing the aircraft manufacturers or countries ect.
