Default Problems with 1/400 forum?

My computer has been giving me warning signals concerning a dying hard drive, but I'm not sure that relates to my current DA.C operational problem... My1/400 scale model forum is not refreshing, and seems locked up. Anyone else having this problem, or is it just my spiteful hard drive? Over, Doug

Is it just me or is anyone else experiencing strange timestamps with threads? I could have sworn that roberjon5 had posted something about a Gatwick show in the Airliners shows/conventions section; and then it disappeared?

Along with threads in the 1/200 section showing the most recent posts/threads as of yesterday?

I posted a Cathay PAcific CV-880M model in the 1/200 section. It seems I can't find it now, but others have posted comments to it? Here are 2 samples below. When you click on the links below you get an error message = no link found???

also, the latest post in 1/200 is in the Any retro GSE in 1/200 thread at 10:20am my time. But all the other threads show a yesterday timestamp, which is not correct. The one after that is Gemini April releases with a time stamp of yesterday at 3:25pm?, by Citris717?

I have to head out to a trampoline birthday party my son is attending this afternoon. Hopefully the DAC is back to normal when I return? Meaning, right now some sections (this one and the Airliners/shows from what I've experienced so far) are in synch while others are out of whack.

Something's goofy for sure. I got notification of a private message that is no longer in my inbox (thankfully the email gave me the message anyway). And the NG March thread keeps putting me at a February 2018 message as my 'First Unread' and there are several messages missing that I know were there before. I just logged out and logged back in to see if maybe something is messed up with cookies.

I also seem to have a problem and it’s happened twice now where the whole forum is marked as read. And there are definitely threads I haven’t read before. I also haven’t clicked the “mark forums as read” button at the bottom of the site either. Not sure why it happens.

Thank you gentlemen, I guess I am not alone with the DAC problems. Looks like the 1/200 section is still in a state where it only has threads from yesterday as it's latest information. It currently displays Any Retro GSE in 1/200 as the latest thread with a timestamp of 2:07pm [today], but when you open the section it only shows all threads posted as of yesterday? No word/update from the moderators? Same quirks over in the 1/400 section as well.

Definitely something up with DAC. 1/400 has lost at least one entire thread today (one started by Richard Stretton which was linking/discussing his recent article about BA livery variations) and a few of my posts have disappeared, and again the whole forum marked 'as read' when it hasn't been

We have a poltergeist running amok in the DAC. Just now my "Cathay Pacific CV-880M" in the 1/200 section just popped up out of nowhere? Several DAC members have commented since last night, but it is now reset as a brand new thread??

Something is definitely wrong. All of my posts from yesterday have disappeared. I think the site may have been hacked.

I agree. Somebody or some group does not like the DAC at the moment; did the DAC piss anybody off as of late? T7

Yep, you are correct. A 1/200 thread of mine disappeared this morning, but came back a few hours later but it was missing all the comments /posts by other DAC members? Seems this is the only section on the DAC that remains stable.

Seriously though you could be right. From what I'm seeing, someone is definitely having a good play with DAC at the moment that's for sure. All the tell-tale signs of hacking.

Continueing with the haunted theme - there could be a lot of skeletons coming out of the closet, banned members from the past coming back to mess with things, embittered souls who instead pissed off DAC and were severed from the forum, multiple times in some cases perhaps...many aliases coming back from the dead...better get the Proton Packs and Ectomobile fired up, this is gonna be a big one

My problems may or may not be influenced by my nine year-old computer, but what ever is happening with DA.C operations has encouraged me to get a new computer anyway. I have always enjoyed tinkering with the computer, and with the old one being replaced, I had upped the RAM to 16 gigs, added a more capable video card, and twice replaced the hard drive - the new one would have been the third. I did not replace the mother board or the CPU (2.8 AMD quad core), capable, but wouldn't handle MS Flight Simulator very well - the new one has great promise.

So, the DA.C problem - tbd I guess, and hope it's nothing sinister. Keep 'em flying, Doug
