Too many characters

Trying to post and error message comes up saying character amount is more than 10,000 even on a short post/thread?

any ideas?

Where are you posting this exactly? Seemed to work on this thread.
Did you remove your caches and cookies?
What browser and device are you using?

"Too many characters" pretty much sums up DA.C., but more to the point, I have had this response on numerous occaisions, and have always eventually worked it out - I don't recall exactly what I did, but I always eventually posted what I intended to. Doug
