Its bit of mysterious mystery - I personally don´t have any single problem with resizing, it works flawlessly for me on all my machines. But DA.C member Blues Boy has steady problems with huge images on his ipad (... if I remember correctly), also robertjon5 reported some problems.

Sounds good. And from what we can tell right now, the resizer is getting blocked by some adblockers. So it's working, but those extra plugins are stopping the script
^^ Well, isn’t that exciting! Thanks for the insight. I’m having a fun time with iPhone Safari not loading as well. The little blue load bar races across the top of the webpage very quickly and then the whole screen just turns white. I’m using chrome to view the forum these days, and it’s not optimal.
Having a terrible time of it here if anyone’s out there that can give me some guidance.
Please click on this DAC thread. Just an example, scroll down to Post #39. For me, it has photos that are HUMUNGUS. I don’t want to see that anymore. It’s ricidulous.
I have upgraded to an iPhone 12, and I’m noticing that NO pictures now appear too large for endless scrolling sideways to see. The images are auto re-sizing to fit to the screen.
Yesterday my Chrome completely crashed due to profile error. I had to run Chrome completely from new, but now the DAC picture resizing doesn´t work for me - all huge pictures remain huge.
1. Where can be the problem?
2. There´s a User Control Panel / Edit Options / Image Resize setting. How everything should be set here?
Resized image resolution (width) 1000 - 1280 would be perfectly Ok for me.
Thanks for reply, Kevin.
So I´ve made some printscreen with a huge picture, downloaded it to imgbb.com, created a link, wrote my reply including adblockers I use, added some more details and when everything was ready and my mouse cursor was already on "Submit Reply" button ....... and in the very last moment I asked myself: why are you asking me about adblockers? And yes, it only needed to disable my AdBlocker Ultimate on DA.C site and everything works perfect now!
So thank you, problem solved by disabling my adblocker.
Ladia
P.S.
Just maybe came up to my mind if this advice is sufficiently published somewhere on the forum to be easily accessible to DA.C members/visitors ? ......
How Do I Adjust My Hosted Image Size?
Your HTML links are set to a default size of 1920 for the width and 1080 for the height.
If your images appear larger when you link them to sites outside of Photobucket, you can easily change this by altering the width and height of the linked images when using the HTML Code option.
To do this,
Copy your HTML link and paste it on a notepad.
Look at your HTML link and find the part that says "width=1920&height=1080".
Double-click on the number part and type in the size you’d like for your image. The higher the number, the bigger the size.
problem is cannot copy the link in first place. had to change top picture manually.
so no idea yet if you manage to change the size, how do you save it??? atm you have to change them individually when you post.
this is an image thumb.
having said above, other forums come out normal size when posted. except here.
