Default Britannia Additions

The past year has seen an explosion of releases for the major and historically important UK charter airline Britannia. Previously there had only been 5 and they were rather a random bunch. Also aside from the 767-300 none where on great moulds. In fact the Gemini 707 and 737 are pretty poor.

So it is awesome to see 5 new releases and mainly in the classic 1980/90s scheme too. I actually flew on two BY 757-200s myself between Gatwick and Valetta way back in 2000. G-BYAR and G-BYAT were the frames.

Anyway here's my current BY fleet along with the successor companies Thomsonfly and TUI Airways in the far less attractive TUI blue scheme:

And the latest edition - the Aeroclassics 767-200:

There's still plenty of aircraft that need to be made or remade. Such as:

Bristol Britannia 100 (JC Wings)
Boeing 707 (Aeroclassics)
Boeing 737-200 (Aeroclassics) - at least 5 different liveries
Boeing 737-300 (Panda Models)

And while they're at it why not some Orion Airways too:

Airbus A300 (Aeroclassics)
Boeing 737-200 (Aeroclassics)
Boeing 737-300 (Panda Models)

Just as I thought - far too much red in those pin-stripes on the 767-200, compared with the accurate NG 757 and 737. I have the Aeroclassics/Big Bird Britannia 767-300 and that's got the pin stripes right, so why not this one? The pin-stripes are blue outlined finely in red, not the other way around! I reserved judgement until I had the model in my hand at ARD - result rejected!
