Default Discover PORTUGAL on the Way-Stopover

My last acquisition

To commemorate the first year of the Stopover program,TAP launched a special decoration on one of its A330-300 (Ex.Singapore Airlines). PORTUGAL STOPOVER "DISCOVER PORTUGAL ON THE WAY" present us with some tourist icons of culture, gastronomy and leisure.

Right side is different from the left; the grapes mean the great wine produced all over the country; the Portuguese Guitar- FADO; D.Luis I Bridge over Douro River-Porto; Waves and Surf ! and the SUN ;
On the other side The Barcelos ****; the Belém Tower-was the starting point for many of the voyages of discovery, listed as a World Heritage Monument; the traditional sardines, the typical electric train-Lisboa-; the best golf courses, and the SEA.

Hope you like

Pinto

The best cabins to work in! Spacious aircraft inside, with lots of attention to the slightest details, providing super confort for both passengers and crews. Lovely model!

Thank you; Next time I'll try Photoshop, that's a good idea.

Hi Rui Cristina,

Apparently, you already worked on this plane; USA, right?
I think the plane is already 9 years old, but it was a Singapore Airlines which justifies the levels of comfort, as you say.

Gostaria de manifestar-lhe a minha mágua, e tristeza pelos recentes acontecimentos na sua terra Natal , não só pela devastação em termos materiais, mas essencialmente pela tragédia humana que atingiu os seus contemporaneos .

Abraço,

Pinto

Another fine model for your collection. Very nice graphics on the fuselage.

Neil.

You must have quite a collection these days! Top Customer @Graphideco after Airbus themselves! And since we're at it, this artwork was created by Gianfranco "Panda" Betting, whom I had the pleasure to meet and talk to, author of several aviation books, aviation photographer, spotter, a great person! Heres some pics showing the interior of these SIA birds flying for TAP, now sadly going to fly to other airlines, like Air Canada. Spacious cabins, and really confortable seats.
Obrigado meu caro Pinto pelas palavras. Em Maio estarei no medio curso, com uma rapida passagem pelo Funchal.abraço.

From what I read, this corporate image was an 18-month work process; undoubtedly a happy end result of a creator who moved to the fuselage of the plane some icons and symbols of our culture.
As far as I know, Rui Cristina also has this creative side, so I would not be surprised if one day we see an artwork created by Rui Cristina on one of the TAP planes. I'm sure it would be a brilliant result.

Dear Mr.Pinto, Without trying to sound rude or arrogant, Ive had my share of this artwork thing back in the 90s with EuroAtlantic, then to be Air Madeira, and later on with Air Gemini, in Luanda. The latter was a much more enjoyable experience, thats all I can say.As for Tap, I am 100% sure nothing of the sort will happen again. Unless Gianfranco can present another idea, hes the man with all the connections. Me, Im just a humble Chief Purser! and proud of it.
