Absolutely. Most of those early-gen GJ SP's I never even bothered to get, the quality is just so poor. Can't really fault GJ, though, those models are all 20+ years old now.

Like Ive said so many times,I'm over the moon about the SP being made,as Ive banged on about this for years! I'm also ecstatic that it's none other than my favourite manufacturer doing it,so to say I'm excited about this is an understatement! However imo there's so much to 'get right' and correct cockpit windows is one of them. Fingers crossed,I'm sure NG will pull it off and with the great eye for detail for tweaking purposes,some additional help/recommendations by Richard. I also hope that NG offer various options for a particular airline ( as may be in the case of SAA/orange tail for instance). I say this because as you're well aware this came in two paint scheme types,namely the bold blue SAA/SAL with white belly and the black SAA/SAL with silver belly.
And not forgetting the blue bandit version aswell.

If NG were to make the las vegas sands 747sp, I hope they do VP-BLK because Gemini did VQ-BMS.
