Default F-14 with 6 AIM-54

Does anyone know of any f-14 with 6 phoenix missile configuration?

I haven't seen any. HM only make 1 with 1 phoenix under the wing glove so if you add 4 under fuselage you can make 5. but that hm model doesn't have the phoenix under the other wing glove pylon so that's that

i think you can make the FOV f-14 carries 6 phoenix but you have to somehow buy additional phoenix missiles?

So are the missiles under the wing glove pylon completely detachable and exchangeable? do all sets include the extra two missiles of each type?

to get all the available configuration, you would need to include 6 aim-54, 6 aim-7, and 4 aim-9.

also does the model come standard with the TARP pod?

The only HM F-14 that i know of that has 6 AIM-54 missiles is: HA5219 VF-84 'Jolly Rogers' US Navy 1986.. Usually the ones that come with this type of missile, only have 4 of them in the box..

Thanks for the info. Price for the HA5219 is crazy....lol

for anyone with Calibre wings and HM f-14, can you tell me if the sparrow and phoenix missiles on the wing glove pylons are detachable so that you can reconfigure them?

I see some of the calibre f-14 also have the 2 sidewinders under each wing glove pylon. Just wondering if the sidewinders are detachable? thanks.

This may answer your question at least for the Calibre F-14....

it seems like the sidewinder mounted directly below the wing glove pylon is not removable with the sidewinder mounted on the side of the wing pylon removable?

So my question still remain: Is there any 1/72 F-14 out there that can do all three wing pylon configurations of 1 sidewinder+1 phoenix, 1 sidewinder+ 1 sparrow, 1 sidewinder+ 1 sidewinder.

I know the FOV model, the phoenix and sparrow can be exchangeable but you can't put the sidewinders in place where the phoenix and sparrow would reside.

So can anyone with calibre wing, century wings, HM, etc tell me? thanks.

I guess this photo can answer the question at least with Calibre Wings. This options came with the 1/72 F-14A VX-4 BLACK BUNNY, all exchangeable.

i see. the inclusion of 4 sidewinders does imply that it's possible to do the 2 sidewinders at the glove pylon. it's too bad they couldn't include two more of the sparrow and phoenix to allow for all possible configurations.

looks like it's preorder on emule. I went ahead and got one since the 20% off preorder coupon make the price not so bad.

Anyone has any experience with getting parts from calibre wings? or contact info? i wish every manufacturer is as responsive as william with HM

i have no luck so far with corgi or FOV trying to contact them ;(

Thanx....the discounted coupon price for the preorder at the TFM makes it easier to justify buying.

yeah, i went ahead and order one. will be my first calibre wings. still kinda expensive at $130 after coupon. but it seems to be even higher quality and more features than HM and supposed to be arrived in sept so not that much wait. we'll see. I am going to try to get the two additional sparrow and phoenix somehow.

also looking into getting the su-24...

I know it's bogus fictional stuff, but all of the Calibre Robotech F-14s come with 6 Phoenix, plus the shoulder Sidewinders. Of course they're all painted differently, but the point is, Calibre has molded the correct pylon for use on its F-14 models enabling one to do 6 Phoenix, properly, with their models. I think one of their recent non-fiction F-14 models (not currently for sale at the Mule, likely sold out) definitely came with two Phoenix on each glove pylon, but the fuselage load was Sparrows IIRC.
So, anyway, yeah definitely doable.

I am looking for a model that can do all 3 configurations interchangeably of wing pylon: 1 aim-9 + 1 aim-9, 1 aim-9 + 1 aim-7, 1 aim-9 + 1 aim-54. Seems like so far the calibre wings is the only 1 that can do it, but only a certain particular ones that can do them all interchangeably?

the 1 aim-9 + 1 aim-9 configuration is the rarest one with calibre wings appears to be the only having it without some sort of creative gluing and customization.

I have the Soviet Stars Missiles & Bomb Set A to go with both of my SU-24's. I also have a couple of Calibre Wings F-14's and like the look of the Black Bunny edition. Does anyone know when it is due for release? I agree that an F-14 weapons pack would be a good idea, given the number of releases so far.
