Default Trijet Reborn: A 727-100 Wishlist

It is nice to be able to standardise on a mould for a particular type in any collection. For the 727-100 for me that is the Aeroclassics casting, which hasn't been seen since 2014. Even though nearly 200 727-100s have been made it is easy to come up with a list of nearly 60 that AC never made. I know the mould is supposedly out of circulation but it'd be great to see some more classic trijet 100s. Here's my top 59:

My 3 favorite choices are the Eastern bare metal, Pride Air and PSA.

Such a short & sweet list.

But in all seriousness, a good list. Excellent subjects. I'd completely forgotten that Dan Air did that obscure modification on their B721's, installing the B722-style aft doors.

My own top 3 fall, more or less, within your list.

1) Northwest

Northwest Orient and the 'bowling shoe' have already been done. I've been lobbying for a DB Cooper release (N467US) since 2014... seems like only 1:200 will ever get one of those. Would also be nice to see "Northwest" titles, as Aeroclassics only previously released "Northwest Orient" titles. The shortened version has not been done; a slight, but significant difference highlighted on the excellent DC-10-40 releases.

2) Eastern

Personally I prefer the "unpainted engines" livery variant. The Eastern livery had so many variations, but I always preferred the 'sleeker' look of the unpainted engine nacelles. Again, a slight difference Aeroclassics previously produced on their Eastern DC-9-30 releases.

3) United

What can I say. I'm from Colorado, I'm a sucker for the old days of Stapleton.
