Default TACA: El Centromericano One-Elevens

A mould I miss quite a lot from the Aeroclassics back catalogue is the BAC One-Eleven. It's a shame they never did a series 500 as the JC Wings / Gemini version doesn't get a lot of use.

Anyway the acquisition of the TACA book from the 'Airline and its Aircraft' series by R.E.G Davies was the stimulus to rewrite and update a post from 4 years ago.

Plus this is topical as more TACA is on its way too.

Check out the history of TACA's One-Elevens here:

Default Re: TACA: El Centromericano One-Elevens

The stimulus to buy both these models was inspired by several visits to the One-Eleven factory at Bournemouth-Hurn as a teenager. I was very pleased to photograph TACA One-Eleven YS-17C outside on air test in February 1967 - never to be seen in the UK again.

Because of my visits, I have bought every single Aeroclassics One-Eleven and very pleased they were made.
