Default Air Tindi

I was humbled to be asked by a DAC member if I could produce for him a couple of models of aircraft that he had flown on. I hope he doesn’t mind if I post photos of them. The other custom was of a MayAir Fokker.
Air Tindi is an airline based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada. It operates scheduled and on demand charter services. Its main base is Yellowknife Airport and the airline was previously owned by the Arychuk family.

I certainly don't mind Mike - your photos are much better than mine anyway But I was really super pleased that you were able to recreate these for me as I'm chasing down types I haven't yet flown on. The Dash-7 in particular was a great experience and I'm so happy to have a model of it.

It and the Mayair F50 are now occupying a special place in my office cabinets so I can look at them more often than the ones in my collection room.

Great work, Mike! As an Air Tindi employee in Yellowknife, I've got to admit... you really nailed it. The colour and markings are spot-on. I may need you to make another!
If so, I'll pick a different registration so Denny's will remain a unique one-of-a-kind.

Denny, it's fantastic to see an Air Tindi Dash 7 holding such a special place in a collection so far away from Yellowknife. It definitely brings a smile to my face.

It really is spectacular work - I was on the charter to the Abbotsford air show a couple of months ago - I specifically went to Vancouver to be able to ride on the Dash 7, and I have to say you guys at Air Tindi also made that a very special occasion, so thank you as well. Didn't hurt that I was also able to pick up flights on a Beaver and a Turbo Otter on that trip.
