Default Aircraft Lists - Trying to build database

Okay, so I've already managed to accumulate over 700 airplanes in the last 4 years, mostly 1/72 military planes. I am a nitpicker when it comes to identifying items - comes from 40+ years of computer programming - and I am dumbfounded to not be able to locate real lists of what makers made. I spend some time every day (fully retired now) searching Ebay and Googling for more information. I am hoping that some of the other collectors out there have lists already. I will share what I already have and in various formats if I can.

When it comes to 1:72 the DA.C database is very incomplete. But its a start I guess.

The DA.C database is not of a lot of use for me. I don't know what the issue is with it - either people don't submit aircraft or the manager of the database doesn't update it, or some combination of the above. What it does have in the way of military aircraft is mostly Corgi and Hobby Master, which I think we can all agree would be the low-hanging fruit of the diecast world - most reported on - most reviewed - easiest to find references for. Surprisingly, the lines that I have been able to complete are at the other end of the spectrum - Model Power/Postage Stamp Planes and Easy Model. I do have most of the DeAgostini 1/72 cataloged and all of the odd-scale Russian ones as well. I have a lot of the Forces of Valor identified and the same for IXO and IXO Junior 1/72, but am just starting on the 1/144 diecast. Problems come from the fact that I've joined the game late and several items have come and gone and become so rare that people don't talk about them much.

I have list of Altaya models available, No.1-70, but generally its just an Altaya number and name of the model.

Also I´ve got excel HM models database, some 660 rows, which I can provide to you, but from January 2018 its not updated. For my purposes, all I need to know about HM production I find on Hobbymastercollector site.

Complete Century Wings production you´ll find on CENTURY WINGS Aircraft Diecast Model | Home, same for Air Commander Air Commander Heavy Metal Collection, but these sources you probably know anyway, same as Flying Mule.
But with TFM I always have problem with their Search function finding discontinued models. I better search TFM site via GIS.

Maybe if you post your database here on the forum I´m sure many collectors will add their comments and help you to keep your database more complete, mainly in 1/72 scale, 1/144 is not so popular.

Actually, Ladia, Flying Mule has helped me a lot with discontinued items.

I'd like to see your Altaya list.

I am finding more "issues" than I expected - IXO for instance sold some 1/144 diecast in boxes labeled 1/72 before 2008. If you see a Black/Orange IXO box be careful. These black boxes don't have the usual IXO sticker with model information on them.

When I saw auctions on Ebay for IXO 1/72 Martin B-26 and Junkers Ju 88 at first I thought the seller had put the wrong diecast in the wrong box, but then I found other pictures of the planes in the same boxes online. I had the seller get out a ruler and verify the scale. The seller had to cancel the auctions and relist them. It wasn't the seller's fault, the deceased collector left the seller with no knowledge of what they were selling outside of what was printed on the boxes along with estimated values.
