Re: Air France B777-200 from Inflight

FYI, those were the molds that Inflight contracted the Gemini/JCW factory to build before they built their new factory and made their own 777-300ER mold.

If I remember correctly, the Eva Air...

Re: Air France B777-200 from Inflight

Inflight did a large number of 777-300ERs, but I don't think they ever did a 777-200. I'm pretty sure Inflight used to use a number of other manufacturer's molds under contract to do specific...

Hello Kai.

Nice to 'hear' from you. Hope all is going well with you. I'm mostly inactive now too. My interests have changed some what these days, but like you, I like to 'pop in' occasionally...

FYI, the 'Blackhawks' version is in the same color scheme as this one. I'm starting to prefer this over the light gray paint.

Re: Unistar Sikorsky MH-53E Sea Dragon US NAVY, 72

Your p0ost inspired me to get one. I got the 'Blackhawks' version in a dark forest green. It is a really nice model.

I thought I wanted the light gray version also, but I'm really happy with...

Re: Inflight 200 787 dragster look solution

Nice mod for those who like it, but I personally like the 'dragster look', and any mod for me would have to include the nose gear doors. They look too long with the mod, and the red line looks funny...

Re: Inflight 200 new molds for 757 and 767 coming

I'm anxious to see what Inflight can do with these models. If they are as good as their A320s, they should be nice models.

Lets just hope for accurate pax window lines

Re: B777-300 vs B777-300ER

To make the -300, JCW just used the old GE-90 engine mold, which is smaller than their current rendering of the GE-90-115 engine. They also removed the wing tips to simulate the wing of the -300.

Re: Inflight and Gemini A321 nose comparison

The Inflight model has a much better shaped nose IMHO. The higher centerline and more accurate shape of the nose and the larger cockpit windows are the main items. The nose gear could slant a...

Re: GJ Thai Royal Barge 777-300

I would still like to see a reversers and spoilers deployed, on the runway model, but I think the manufacturing complexities would probably prevent that.

Re: CATHAY PACIFIC 777-300ER oneworld flaps down

Of course, you wouldn't have the wing deflection due to lift and the thrust reversers deployed at the same time.

I like your idea of a 'flaps down' model with unflexed wings. Add to that the...

Re: CATHAY PACIFIC 777-300ER oneworld flaps down

The thrust reversers on the 747 are located BEHIND the slats (leading edge flaps) so the slats have to be retracted before thrust reversal to eliminate the possibility of damage. On the 777-300ER...

Re: Air New Zealand 777-300s (IF200 vs JCW)

Short answer in neither one is the correct size. The real GE-90-115B is 13'6" in diameter. Inflight scale out at approximately 13'4" and JCW/GJ at 14'1", so neither is correct.

Good news is...

Bigger, properly shaped cockpit windows could help several molds.

Re: Pan American Boeing 707-121 Inflight 200

Re: What is UP with JC/Gemini A340-500 window line
