Zinc rot has to do with impurities in the metal used. Not so much the external factors. So, I think coating won't help. But of course, you can try. Good luck.

This airplane is also available from 2 other companies: Leo Models and De Agostini. I think De Agostini is the same as Atlas Editions (they have the same display stand). Good luck.

I don't know if you move all your models in 1 time. If not, and you have another A319, you can move first the A319 with box, take out the model, use that box a second time for the model without box.
