They`ll sort you out. They`re a top retailer. I`ve used them countless times without issue. I think you were just unlucky. It`s the manufacturers fault, not the retailers.

No, i wouldn`t think so. The internal sponge holds the model extremely tight. Looks like someone broke the radome off trying to pack it and couldn`t be bothered to put aside, sending it to despatch...

Yes, i took it off the front of the radome. I think your suggestion could work. However. Cutting some off the top of the radome would make the overall radome diameter smaller, and result in a step....

I nearly had it all finished and painted when that nagging voice in the back of my mind wouldn`t let go. It`s what Ladia mentioned about the radome. He was absolutely right. The radome IS too long....

Probably just the focal distortion with the camera being nearer the nose section. Looks better on the close up pics. It`ll look better once the dielectric panels are moved back to their correct...

Maybe. Tu-16 is 35m in length compared with the SR-71 Blackbird which is 33m in length. Century wings` SR-71 is reasonably priced i think. The B1 is 10m longer at 44m. Or the Tu-22 Blinder at 41m....

Around 2.3kg. Though the Marushin aircraft are considerably heavier than their counterparts. (compare HM Zero`s to Marushin`s and you`ll see what i mean). They surely used a different alloy to HM....
