Re: MCAS Aviation Museum to Permanently Close

That`s a damn shame. Such museums struggle to survive anyway, without this terrible disease. Would the community pitch in to save it?

Re: Wishes for hobby master

I think you`re right. It would certainly fit nicely with their IAF Mig-29 (& hopefully SMT in the future), as well as my parade day Sukhoi;

Re: HM F-18F Advanced Super Hornet, Loaded (HA5118

I think it looks very good indeed. Sometimes less `gaudy` markings are more. As in this case. Nice model.

This is going to look great next to my other Indian Air Force aircraft!

Hoping HM do the IAF SMT too!

I love IAF birds. Their roundal placement makes em look somehow alive.

Re: New JC Wings F-14/F-15

They`ll sort you out. They`re a top retailer. I`ve used them countless times without issue. I think you were just unlucky. It`s the manufacturers fault, not the retailers.

Re: New JC Wings F-14/F-15

No, i wouldn`t think so. The internal sponge holds the model extremely tight. Looks like someone broke the radome off trying to pack it and couldn`t be bothered to put aside, sending it to despatch...

Well, pretty much finished it today. Sprayed the radome and now i`m just waiting for it to cure before painting the radiation signs onto it. This will take a few days or so, so i thought i may as...

Re: Code Carlo4 Su-30!! Ha ha

Yes, i took it off the front of the radome. I think your suggestion could work. However. Cutting some off the top of the radome would make the overall radome diameter smaller, and result in a step....

Re: Code Carlo4 Su-30!! Ha ha

I nearly had it all finished and painted when that nagging voice in the back of my mind wouldn`t let go. It`s what Ladia mentioned about the radome. He was absolutely right. The radome IS too long....

Re: Hobbymaster May 2021 Releases

I`d say about 6 years or so. Milliput is designed to work on plastic/metal/out-door use for plugging storage tanks. It sets underwater too. I can`t give you any info on other fillers, as i don`t use...

Re: Large 1/72 scale diecast bombers? possible?

Maybe. Tu-16 is 35m in length compared with the SR-71 Blackbird which is 33m in length. Century wings` SR-71 is reasonably priced i think. The B1 is 10m longer at 44m. Or the Tu-22 Blinder at 41m....
