That's very simple! And IMHO there's two good reasons:

Not all of us got the SP's we wanted and plus not all airlines ( or operators) were done

I've never really liked GJ's version of the SP...

Gemini's MD-11 is awesome!! But then they're the only ones with this mould anyway..lol!! However I wish they offered the long exhaust cone option on the GE fitted types. Never ever seen this done!...
