Re: NG Model 1:400 September 2020 Release Photogra

I think it's high time to add a disclaimer to every release photo thread regarding the color situation.

Re: NG Model A350 Suggestions / Wishlist

If it is indeed the new form, it shouldn't be on either of MH's A350 (pretty sure all of MH's A350s have the old winglets, but they're definitely not on 9M-MAG/-MAB). Even if you were right, it just...

Re: NG Model A350 Suggestions / Wishlist

I find it somewhat baffling/frustrating that NG will go through the trouble of making new tooling for the RB211 afterbody on the Court Tristars and the chevrons on the core exhaust of the Delta A321...

Re: NG Model - 1:400 August 2020 Release Photograp

Because of our feedback, NG has adjusted:

The nose of the 737
The engine size of the RR on the 757
The canted cowl on the L-1011
The engine pylons of the A330
The cockpit windows on the 787

Re: NG Model - 1:400 August 2020 Release Photograp

The pictures aren't scaled to an equivalent size (just from using a ruler, the 747 in the top picture is smaller.) I'd guess that slightly enlarging the top photo would bring the doors back and...

Re: NG Models: New releases for SEP 2020

It'd be cool if you guys eventually made distinct moulds for the A350 sharklets.

Oof you're right. Didn't mess around with the wheel but I adjusted the nose cone & cockpit printing, which makes a huge difference IMO.

Re: NG Model - 1:400 August 2020 Release Photograp

Mucked around with the 747sp on photoshop and came up with something that I feel is a little more accurate. Hopefully NG sees this at some point.

Re: NG Model - 1:400 August 2020 Release Photograp

747 looks fantastic. I think the cockpit windows should be slightly smaller and printed just a touch higher, but looks amazing overall!

Re: NG Model A350 Suggestions / Wishlist

I don't think NG is interested in fantasy liveries, considering that all of AF/KL's A350s will be going to AF.

Re: New NG Models Mould Review: Airbus A350

Agreed. Ironically, I feel that the nose/cockpit region of the first sample from earlier this year is better overall- it lacks the over-pronounced concavity and has a sharper, less upturned nose.

Re: New NG Models Mould Review: Airbus A350

Looks good overall, although I'd argue that the curve on the cockpit region seems to be a touch overemphasized. Also sad that they decided to go with a single mould to represent both the old/new...

Re: NG Model - 1:400 August 2020 Release "Hints"

Re: New NG Models Mould Review: Boeing 747SP

Re: New NG Models Mould Review: Boeing 747SP

Criticizes NG for lack of creativity developing an aircraft that hasn't been touched by a mfg in years.

Excited by a mould that has gone through twice as many iterations than the SP.
