Re: Need a Lanc 1/72 recommendation

Excellent Questions.

I would say one of each. The new 2021 fits the regular one requirement so maybe a special for #2. Might allow for 3rd Lanc if space allows so I could go for a Dambuster and a...

Need a Lanc 1/72 recommendation

We talk alot about US Heavies, but we don't often discuss British Heavies. They don't seem as popular the the B-17s and B-24s

I am missing a Lancaster in my WWII collection. Also missing a Short...

Re: New Tooling. CORGI 1/72 BRISTOL BEAUFORT.

INSTANT PRE-ORDER. Finally some love.

Some decent stuff this year (2020 was miserable for WWII 1/72).

The LANC is also on my list, looks awesome.

Re: HM APRIL 2020 Poster

Glad HM hasn't totally abandoned the Skymax series, shame its another 2 Devestators I would have preferred a LA-5FN.

That being said, I am glad they got around to doing John Waldron's Bird as he...

Re: Corgi 2020 Catalogue........

Happy 2020 everyone!

Ok so its here.

My thoughts are pretty much the same as FS. The two winners are the B-25 and the HE-111. The B-25 is very similar to the Bats Outta Hella scheme a few years...

Re: Recent release talk ...

The Hurricane IVD, Corgi has one in 1:72 I have my eye on. There is also the RAF 274 SQD scheme which is nice although they flew IIB Trop and not the IVD (no 40mm anti-tank guns).

ME-110 CORGI vs HM

I was wondering if you all have a preference between the HM or Corgi ME-110 Zerstorer.

Re: Corgi CG-AA33716 He 111H-16 Luftwaffe Air Lnc

Thats correct, its a flexiable machinegun position. It was open air when the gun was deployed but the gun could be folded inside and the position closed.

The late versions of the HE-111 like the...

Re: Corgi CG-AA33716 He 111H-16 Luftwaffe Air Lnc

Good choice, I actually decided to skip this one as I have the the the older V1 Launcher AA33707 and am more interested in a HE-111 Torpedo Bomber.

I just wish Corgi had used a better picture...

You didn't by chance hear any news concerning HM plans for WWII in 1/72?

Re: "Outside of the box" mould suggestions.

Not quite, its a T-33. A P-80 lengthened to fit a second seat. Primarily used as a Trainer.

I would get some of these too, but I am really after WWII/Korean War era P-80's.

Re: Good B-17 Model?

I don't like the all NMF look to it. Its just too bland, too vanilla. You look at "A Bit of Lace", "Little Miss Mischief" or even "Sentimental Journey" they are far more cheerful.
