Re: Russia/Putin holds all the cards! The West has to learn to accept it!

There was a day when the US didn't have mamby pamby presidents like Obama, a day when the country didn't put up with Russia's bulls***. Reagan mocked the Soviet Union ad nauseum during the 80s....

Re: Oh no Not again MAS B777 from Amsterdam Crash Over Ukraine! Shot down?

I'm sure, like the previous MAS 777 incident, that there will be some finger pointing at those evil capitalist airplane tycoons at Boeing for designing such a dangerous aircraft. The headlines will...

Re: Boeing in 747-8 talks with Emirates

The question then becomes: if Emirates were not sitting on unlimited cash flow, would the A380 really be that big of a success?

Re: A350 gets winglets, pics of full plane!

I cannot help but think that Airbus was inspired by the 777 (rear and wing roots) and the 787 (nose). They just threw on some ugly wingtips to make it "unique".

Once could say the same thing...

There is a much bigger set of problems to the issue that neither American nor international posters on this thread have acknowledged, one that impels many Americans to want to own firearms.

Re: Will Herpa make any more Premiums?

I use to criticize these things until I bought a yellowed LH747 for $60. Even yellowed, it is still a really cool model, and engineering-wise ahead of even the models of today.

It's a shame with the majority of Skymarks 777s. A great fuselage mold ruined by misaligned tampos. They are either too high or too far forward.

While the rubber tires look better, the down side is that their durability is questionable. I have an AF747 whose tires have all split to pieces. I am not sure if the 767 ones are any better.
