I recall that Boeing refused to give the Lufthansa 748-Retro a polished belly, saying that the aluminium alloy is different from the old 747s and hence needs an anti-corrosion varnish.

Re: Inflight 200 United Kingdom MRTT - Boris Force

Don't care about Boris, but all major developed countries have their shiny head of state livery. A dull military paintjob is not dignified to -a still- political world power.

Re: Inflight 200 new molds for 757 and 767 coming

I thought the Gemini 757 mould was pretty good. The only problem was, that they didn't make use of it enough lately.
The 767 though had a constant nose shape problem.

Bummer. Longhaul, I fly through FRA mostly. 747's eco seats are tight and the 779 doesn't seem to offer much more comfort either.

Agreed, the landing gear is excellent, but the model seems to have some flaws. For example, the silver painting line above the cargo door is pretty sloppy.

Re: NG Models' possible new moulds - a quick surve

Well, the Jc/Gemini 757 mould is one of the best moulds around, there is nothing much to improve (the 767 needs a better nose though!).

I'd rather like to see them make the CRJ 700/900.
