Re: Large 1/72 scale diecast bombers? possible?

I have three of the Corgi Avro Vulcans and a Terebo H-6K Badger, which are all still in their boxes due to a lack of display space. They are all heavy, especially the Badger. From what I can recall,...

Re: Flight Demonstration Teams - Collecting

I have recently received a Mig-29 from the Swifts and an SU-27 from the Warriors (Knights) flight performance teams. They were listed as Air Force 1, but the boxes are unbranded. I presume they were...

Re: CalW F-14D Super Tomcat #CA721411 prototype.

My Super Tomcat arrived last week and it really does look nice. I also ordered the Ocean Low Pass diorama set to mount it on. Sadly, both will have to stay in their boxes until I can provide some...

Thanks Ladia, I had missed this one. I have just ordered one and will be interested to see how it looks compared to the previous release I have with the red star on the tail and wings. Did you also...

Re: CW001632 1/72nd LTV A-7D Corsair II 23rd TFW 7

The new Century Wings Corsair does look nice. I had been thinking of getting the previous Ohio ANG version to go with my recently acquired JC Wings VA-113 Stingers model. My previous Century Wings...

I just received an email to say that the Dassault Store is back. I think I have registered, but it is all in French, so who knows. It has been a long time coming, I will have a good look tomorrow...

Re: JC Wings Su-27 Eritrean Air Force

I have a few of these. Not the best or the worst, but good value (from Hong Kong sellers). The colours are a bit 'bright', I like to imagine them as freshly painted examples. I also really liked the...

Re: T-50

Upon reflection, you are most likely correct about them coming from the same factory. Given the range of brand names it is hard to know who the original manufacturer is. Maybe an independent...

Re: T-50

It looks like Herpa bought blanks from AF1 and did their own painting (nothing wrong with that). While I appreciate the difficultly of painting between the fuselage and tail planes, the AF1 model...

Re: The Bloodhound Gang

The scale is 1:76, which is a close match to my 1:72 plane collection. I have bought a few older releases locally. My latest batch were purchased directly from Oxford Die-cast in the UK.
