Managed to get a few flights on the flight deck of Scandinavian Airlines MD’s, really quiet up there, so much so that the crew never wore headsets during flight.

In the UK, the National ATC provider, NATS is impartial. Doesn't matter what nationality the airline is or whether it's budget or mainline.
