I've used Liquid Fusion (https://www.aleenes.com/liquid-fusion-4-oz), a clear non-foaming polyurethane glue, to attach pylons. Any excess can be cleaned up with a swap dipped in isopropyl alcohol...

I found that dry transfer stencils sometimes just won't adhere to the paint HM uses on some parts of some models. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I was trying to add propeller stencils...

Go to the local craft store and pick up some clear urethane glue (Liquid Fusion is one brand) if you want a fairly strong and non-permanent bond. It can be cleaned up with water or isopropyl alcohol...

The landing gear were shortened after the first release. They're fine! I have the second and third 109s, and they're pretty darned good.

Yes, both were shortened! The official HM photos aren't accurate.
The pair of legs are preassembled and attached to a fuselage section that bridges the two legs, and the whole assembly needs...

Solid is the right word. I think it's the heaviest of all my 1/48 WWII single-engine planes, except for the HM P-47 Thunderbolt, which is a beast.
