Different type of paint and material is used on the nose cone. One that doesnt interact or interfere with the radar, which is placed in the nose cone.

Shouldn't a hand made prototype be better quality than the production run though? Same with other diecasts, like Corgi, where the hand made prototypes sometimes look miles better than the real deal...

1. Many maneuvers are actually harder to do with a plane with external loadout. Draft, weight distribution etc. And I am pretty sure the expensive stealth tech is very useful in asymetrical warfare....
