Re: Air france asie a 340-200

Nice looking model, I’ve always loved the crisp simplicity of the original eurowhite operator in Air France, and the single colour Asie mod is a hit for me, I think I may have to add one of these to...

Nice comparison, thanks John! I have the Herpa version myself, ok it’s plastic rather than diecast, but it’s a really good looking and well made model in my opinion. Apologies for the grainy photos,...

Re: Gemini 200 March releases

Great seeing a steady stream of 747 freighters rolling out, Kalitta on order and now Air Bridge as well. Just need an NCA 747-200f too now.

I missed the IF200 Kalitta 747 so I’m very excited to see a Gemini version. Cargo fans should be excited, as I guess there will be more freighters now a mould has been released :)

Re: GJ200 vs IF200: Qantas 747

The IF200 747-SP is for me, the best representation of a 747 in 1:200. They also have a clean wing root join, but also a far superior, dare I say almost perfect JT9D engine nacelle to boot. Even the...

I think the cheapest 747s I’ve seen are the European Air Charter (EAL) ex BA 747-200s, which even now can be had for as low as £30.
