Re: What have I been up to, you ask?

Brilliant work, Luca! I saw this on SQ's Facebook page and just knew that you were the one behind this.

What was it like building an entire A380? Was it more or less work than the 77W? I remember...

I'd love to see how this turns out! Any progress reports, now that it's about two months since that post (presumably you have started working on it)?

Cathay Pacific 747-400 in the old green and white stripe livery please.

And while you're at it, how about a 747-300 in the old livery as well?

Re: Apollo (Witty Wings) vs Phoenix 777-300

Phoenix has had their stuff ups, no doubt about that. That TK one is one example of that. But so has every other manufacturer.

I maintain that Phoenix have the best 1:400 777 mould of any other...

Re: Yes or No - cellphone conversations on your flight?

What do you mean, "rudely talk"? It's a public environment; they're well within their rights to talk on the phone if they so choose. You cannot expect to have peace and quiet in a public place.

I would be in favour of this.

Flying is not completely silent, nor is it meant to be. Passengers, particularly if they're travelling in groups, talk to each other. So long as they're not yelling...

Mostly modern jets. I like planes that are built after the stone age.

I do however, have 1 CX 707, 1 CX CV-880 and 1 CX DC-3.

I also have 3 x 742 (CX, JL, BA) and 1 x 741 (BA). I also...

Re: Are Gemini Jets any good?

No. They are very good. Not the best, but a very close second, in my view.

I agree Dragon Wings is very good. I'd say that Dragon Wings has the better 747-300 and 747-400 fuselage shape (and better 747-400 winglet shape). But what lets it down, in my view, is the very basic...

I'm aware of that. Windows are a printing issue, not a mould issue. It's a shame that Phoenix didn't pick up on this error so they can tell their factory not to replicate it.

They aren't all bad, and I'd say their 747 moulds are generally quite good, with the exception of printing errors on their early examples, and the not so accurate landing gear and dihedral angle.
