Re: Electra for Sale

I reckon your 1/60 Electra looks far better & more accurate than the big, overly expensive one.

Re: Hasegawa 747-400 Air New Zealand

The 1/200 Hasegawa 747 model is, in my opinion, far better than any die cast version. You are doing a superb job on your model. Looking forward to the finished product.

Re: Qantas may well farewell the Boeing 747 this way

Very strange that QF has not done at least one retro colour scheme considering their heritage. I would love to see a "V-Jet" 747.

Re: Diecast Aircraft Sountrack

Using musical terminology, how many beats to the bar is that tune? Maybe when you are doing that you should be doing it to Eric Carmen's song "All By Myself".

Re: How to remove wings and landing gear

Never use a heat gun as it could potentially melt the metal. A hair dryer would be a safer method.

Re: Favorite aviation related movie?

Another movie I discovered on Youtube is "Kandahar" which has some excellent flying sequences with an Il76 being pursued by Taliban Mig21's. This was a Russian made movie & came out in 2010.

I bit the bullet last year & just stopped buying them. I was seriously tempted by a few that came out during the year but resisted purchasing any of them. I reckon what I saved in not buying models...
