Re: Phoenix models?

Phoenix is not very active in 1:200, particularly lately, but all the ones I've had in hand are pretty good models. I'd say their printing is probably the least detailed of any of the 1:200...

Re: Gemini 200 September Release Announcement

I'm super stoked about the Delta 727!! :D AA CRJ-900 is also a flown on example, and I'm picking up the TCA A220 and Alaska B739 as well. A nice month!

Yep I just flew on a Breeze E190 so it's on the must-have list now.

Re: NG Exclusive - Southwest "Maryland One" N214WN

It seems that some retailers are getting into the same game with NG preorders as the ones offering Gemini/JC/Inflight 'future releases' that aren't yet on the monthly schedule.

Re: GeminiSelect list

I don't think they've done runs that big since the mid-2000's when all the other brands started coming on the scene. Maybe here and there for some known hot sellers.

Re: GeminiJets 2021 Releases Changes!

I'd say primarily shipping costs. I've heard from several sources that the price of a container from China to LA has tripled in the past year.

Yes I'm very excited to see this too, even though I also have the SMA. I have flights on all of these in my logbook so I echo these suggestions! :D

Re: Will we see this one made in 1/400 this year?

Is it really 'retro' if that livery was still in regular service within the last 5 years or so? :p

I don't think this livery ever appeared on an E170 though....

Re: Gemini 200 New Mould AN-124

Doesn't matter - this is gonna sell like hotcakes. Just like the Beluga. People don't tend to follow 737's or A320's on flightradar, but a ton of people track these things. They're unique and exotic...

Re: Gemini / JC 757's Engine placement

I think that's actually correct. AFAIK, most wing-mounted engines aren't attached perfectly perpendicular to the fuselage of the real planes.

Re: Gemini Jets 1/200 Eastern Airlines 757-225 N20

The 757's have been coming in that type of box for a while now. All the Icelandair and Delta examples I've gotten in the last 3-4 years have for sure.

Re: AA E175 old wingtip and new wingtip

Well in 1:200 scale the difference works out to approximately 0.35 inches or not quite 9mm - I can't say as I blame the model manufacturers for using the same mould for both, if that is what they...

Re: The dragster has landed

I like to remind people that it may be double the scale, but that means they take up 8x the space, since everything's doubled in 3 dimensions.

Not the first widebody, but the first widebody twin (I think the history has a typo where it says 'twin-aisle' - that should be 'twin-engine').
