Re: February Aeroclassics 2021

Surprised that wasnt a big seller, at least in China.
Don't think many others would get them outside that region as they tended not to be seen anywhere else though.

Most IL76s operated throughout...

Never seen one in the flesh, but to my eyes the blue varies according to light as it would do depending on whether a photo of the model is taken inside or outside.

The blue looks more washed out...

Re: 707 Mold question

The vast majority of 707s in 1/400 AND reality are the 707-320B/C, and of course Aeroclassics mould is very good. Of course at the time, it was streets ahead of other competitors such as the toy-like...

Re: 707 Mold question

Cheers for the info, I know the ventral fin was underneath the rump of the fuselage, but for some reason I thought the tail on the 420 was also increased.

Anyway, my error. Thx for clarifying.

Re: 707 Mold question

The 707-320B/C had a height of 42 feet, the 707-420 was 45 feet. I always presumed this was due to the taller tail fin of the 420 (and some 320s) compared to the shorter fin of the 320B and 320C.

Re: 707 Mold question

Are you sure Air Vietnam had a Conway powered 707? You maybe right but that would
have been a 707-420/400.

707-320s had Pratt and Whitney I think, 302Bs and 320Cs definitely did.

We could do...

Personally, if I was a 777 fan, I'd be happy with it.
