Re: Gemini 200...Air Force One 748

I'm just curious if this fantasy scheme has gone up in value, now that it will remain a fantasy scheme?

I will say, the darker blue for the lower fuselage mutes the seal of the presidency, it...

Re: Gemini 200...Air Force One 748

An additional issue of the A/R receptacle is that it gives off fuel fumes. Given that it's directly above the boss' suite, that was nixed along with the other listed reasons.

Looks like Gemini will be doing a 1:200 of this as well.

I know the Inflight/BBox/JFox/whatever has interchangeable landing gear...Gemini is fixed, no?

Re: Corgi Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, US Army "Supe

They're the ejected shell dump chutes, so the hot brass goes away from the door gunner and doesn't possibly re-enter the helo cabin. They exist on MH-60s, but the Corgi model's ones might be too...

Re: HM F-15C Missile Loadout

There are not for this release, shorter fins for the AIM-120 being why. HM should have included adhesive strips for the missiles somewhere in the package.

Re: how is it possible beluga XL carry A350 wing

Yeah remember it's pretty bare bones for the wings. The leading and trailing edge devices, flap fairings, flap tracks, engine pylons etc are not installed.

Re: InFlight200 Upcoming Release.....Why?

Who cares?

It isn't fantasy if paint got on metal. Also, somehow the aircraft got to MHV, so it had to have flown at some point.

It's history, whether the company made it or not.

Re: B777-9 anybody?!

Problem with movable wingtips is how the hinge gets constructed/finished. AF1 has done it on a couple of their 1:72 military models, and get killed for using unpainted silver 'piano' style hinges.

The KC-747 competed in the US against the KC-10, obviously the KC-10 won that round. I believe the IIAF still has one or two of theirs operational, one crashed several years ago.

It's in 10,000 ft of water, and it didn't come down intact. So I'd say the opportunities to exploit are more limited than one would think.
