Re: Airbus hushes the A320's 'barking dog'

Yes Surinam, the first time I was in MIA for a local airliner show, I remember hearing all the car alarms being set off by the 727 taking off.

Ahhh yes, the good old days when you could fall...

Re: Airbus hushes the A320's 'barking dog'

It has been a while since I have flown on an Airbus 320 but I do remember hearing a lot of clanging in the lower compartment as if a mechanic was banging on some pipes.

I find it very interesting...

Re: Photos: Phx200 united 727

Good looking model, although the wings are a little thick at least the doors, cabin windows and cockpit line up where they are supposed to.

Re: Do all MD-11's have blue nostrils?

Thanks for the insight on this Rocky and DC-Jets.

I had seen this on the Fed EX MD-11 for years and never knew what it was.

MrMD11 I could not agree with you more.

This is almost as embarrassing to this country as when congress shut down the government a few years ago.

This is truly an embarrassment to our country...

Re: Aeroclassics 200 Northwest DC-8-32 Landed

I agree with 727pilot, the cabin windows are high and the engines are too long, they almost look like DC-8-62 engines.

Re: Boeing 747-400D, ANA, Hasegawa 1/200th Scale

Very nicely done.

Hasegawa kits are a fun build. They are also very accurate. Notice the alignment of the upper deck cabin windows to the cockpit windows. I have yet to see a diecast with that...

Great work, as usual Brad. I heard and read that the Mini Craft 727 is difficult, inaccurate and hard to work but you really made a beauty of it.

It is also nice to see a kit made where the...

Re: Delta CS300

Nice looking rendition.

If I recall correctly the C Series has 3-2 seating like the MD-80's.

If that is true it will be a welcome addition in the skies with that configuration.

Who makes them in a ground mode in both scales?

Re: Boeing 757 replacement on the way?

Doesn't the 757 already out range the 321.

That is why it is used on so many ETOPS flights that the 321 will just be growing into.
