Thanks, Russ. Yep, right at 14". Never knew such a scale existed, thanks for the info!

PacMin DC-10 House Colors

I just inherited this model from a friend who sold his hangar and is clearing it out. He told me he received this from a (now retired) Western Airlines pilot "sometime in the late 70's"

Re: N874AA (American Airlines 727-200) scrapped!!!

Sounds like the owner wasn't paying his rent. A bid for scrapping was put out in March 2021, a full 8 months ago. Ownership changed from the guy who was restoring it to a company in Florid back in...

Re: Exorbitant prices on ebay

Re: San Diego Sunset....6-15-85

Just as an example, If you wanna do the terminal area and ramp, you're looking at 1,800' x 2,110', so 1,800 x 12 / 400 = 54" and 2,110 x 12 / 400 = 63.3 inches, so you could get away with a 63.5" x...

Re: San Diego Sunset....6-15-85

www.historicaerials.com has a great measuring tool. Wish that website was available when I was building this. I realized later that my SAN diorama is a bit over scaled.

Re: San Diego Sunset....6-15-85

I knew it! Loved that old terminal. I assume there's gonna be plenty of USAir's around the D gates, and a smattering of ATA as well?
