Re: Retiring Planes Early Bad For Airlines? Here's

Hertz filed for Chapter 11 this week for the same consequences. Hertz was already heavily in debt so this didn’t help. However, when the value of cars plummeted, their terms required a ballon payment...

Re: 1/200 ups A300

I don’t think so, definitely not diecast. Also, there are two newer logos now. The new logo was introduced in 2003. That shield had a bit of a 3D look. In 2014, they did a subtle update to it and...

Meanwhile I have yet another USPS package that arrived in Atlanta but still isn’t here. For some reason, the post office consistently takes 2-3 days to get the final 20 miles. I never send anything...

Re: Delta Retiring MD88 and MD90s after 2 June 202

I'm really surprised they are getting rid of so many 717's. It seems like the 717 has replaced a lot of flying, at least out of ATL.

Re: Air France Retiring A380 with Immediate Effect

I don't think so. Reducing options also reduces the size of your potential customer base.

I believe they did. In terms of a re-release with modified stripes and a glare visor -- I don't actually think that was ever done, at least if it was, not on many frames. The glare visors seemed to...

Re: Is this TWA 747 made in a diecast vs plastic?

Every now and then someone will list it as Inflight even though it's a Hogan. The lack of antennas and wing antennas are the fist giveaways it's a Hogan. I just sold one last month for $140. ...

I'm not trying to be a jerk when I say this but this isn't about the 777-9X. This is a decision based on existing 777's (8/18 being ER's) vs. A350-900 both of which Delta currently has on hand and...
