Re: F-15e

Hopefully HM can make a decent F-15E. Going by comments already posted, it doesn't appear to be a model that's easy to do "accurately".

Re: Hobby master query

bragadox is right. Lousy fit can happen to any brand of model. I had to use white glue to fix the landing gear on my CW A-7, F-14 and x-plus F-4.

Apparently HM ran out of time before they were...

Re: DW F4U Corsair, VF-84 "The Wolf Gang", DRW50128

That does sound bad. I actually had problems installing the gear on both Corgi and Dragon models. Probably more of an issue with the Dragon. Luckily I was able to fix it using white glue.

Re: Corgi P-38J Lightning, USAAF 49th FG, "Marge", Richard Bong, AA36601

It would be good to see more P-38 releases. There is a rumor saying HM is going to produce a 1:72 P-38. Hopefully it turns out to be true.

Re: HM Quality Control has been slowly on a downhill roll.

Can't say I noticed any issues worth mentioning. I suppose if you're doing a run of 1000 models, there will be some "rejects" that get missed by QC. If you believe it's a significant problem, you...

We pretty much assumed HM would do an F-35. The rumor is kinda saying they're going to make the model sooner than we thought. It probably doesn't matter whether HM release the model in 2014 or say...

Re: Hobby Master North American USAF F-86F Sabre "The Huff" 39th FIS, Suwon AB, 1953

I think you're right. HM have done a lot of ROCAF birds. I guess a JASDF version would be another one we can be sure of seeing.

Re: Hobby Master North American USAF F-86F Sabre "The Huff" 39th FIS, Suwon AB, 1953

Yup, this is why we have to be careful looking at pics. I believe HM corrected an "error" on an A-26 model when in fact they got it right. Someone had sent an email to William. By the time William...

Re: Hobby Master North American USAF F-86F Sabre "The Huff" 39th FIS, Suwon AB, 1953

It's also a recon bird, an RF-86F. You can tell by the bulges on the forward fuselage.

Re: HM F6F Hellcat, USN VF-12, USS Randolph, "Lt. H. McWhorter III", HA1112

I think you're right. IMO both Dragon and HM models can be recommended. Dragon stopped making 1:72 warbirds so I guess you're more likely to pick up the HM version.

Re: Hobby Master HA2417 Mig-15bis Captain N V Sutyagin, 17th IAP 1951/52

Capt. Sutyagin was a Soviet ace in the Korean War. That and the fact HM are doing a F-86 is probably why HM chose this scheme.

Re: Hobby Master North American USAF F-86F Sabre "The Huff" 39th FIS, Suwon AB, 1953

Corgi probably assumed HM would do a 1:48 Sabre. I thought that too and also it would be Falcon doing a 1:72 F-86F given they released a F-86D model.

Re: HM MiG-21SMT, Soviet Air Force, "16", HA0147
