I have only ~220 split between 1/400 and 1/200. Oddly this hobby got me into designing 1/400 vehicles and I have now designed more than I have diecast planes; takes up less space too.

I would guess 50-100 hours just to make a CAD model never mind the cost of molds. 3D printing is still far away in detail to reach the smoothness of a mold.

Pretty nice. I'm sure many are interested in what cabinet that is with that mirror and all. I would want to drill more holes in to add shelves but the extra weight might be too dangerous.

They are made of a clear acrylic so they must be primed with white and then color. They come coated in wax from the print process so I clean them with Simple Green and a toothbrush before painting...

I would get a thin tip Sharpie and try to cover the scratch. Alcohol wipe will remove it if you mess up.

I think the only one in demand is the 747 SCA with the space shuttle on it since no one has made a newer one. Hopefully NG decides to make this set in the future.

I suggest you get some ultra fine Sharpies and felt pens to do the windows and tires or you have to be very careful with a tiny paintbrush. Primer the model with white paint so color goes on...
