Careful. We don't know what year the photo of the actual aircraft was taken. Liveries can be slightly different year to year. Note that the SH in the photo also has a white trim on the modex number....

It's not airbrakes. Those things betweens the tails are ECS (Environmental Control System) vents. There are different versions of the ECS vents. HM's model seems to have the latest version.

FWIW, the first 5 releases of HM's Mitsubishi F-2 model had the wrong paint color. Totally wrong blue on blue camo color. Yet they sold quite well. After the 5th release, HM corrected the color....

If Calibre's Tomcat lives up to the promises, then neither Century Wing nor HM can come close. Both Century and HM share the same mold and thus share the same faults. And those faults are hard to fix...

Actually, they said it'd be pretty much the same as the CW mold. Which is understandable because HM was the company that made the CW mold in the first place.

IXO models are occasionally released under the KB Wings brand name. I believe the Blue Impulse T-4 was one such model. I think it was exclusive to one store at first but later released widely.

A VG wing F-22 wouldn't have made much sense IMHO. Given the technology available by the 1990's, I think they could've easily made a navalized F-22 without resorting to using VG wings.
