Re: HM Grumman F-14A Tomcat USN VF-84 Jolly Rogers, AJ200, USS Nimitz HA5203

My thoughts exactly, why should I do any modeling since this is an accurate collectible ready to display, as advertised. I'd rather pay the small difference (which you can still reduce by using a...

Re: HM Grumman F-14A Tomcat USN VF-84 Jolly Rogers, AJ200, USS Nimitz HA5203

It's been one error after another and for almost the same price these second hand models will be even be less attractive than their inspirations. Look at the tread walk for example, a glaring error...

Re: Hobby Master Wolfpack! Twice!

Re: Best F-18 1:72?

I'd vote for HM as well except they have a very shallow air intakes, and unfortunately for this good mold the anti drag gaps are missing.

Re: Calibre Wings F-14A Wolfpack

That's true, so far it's been only images and prototypes. Add to that their un welcomed 1/144 already released model.

Re: Hobby Master HA4903 US Navy Lockheed S-3A Viking, VS-31 "Topcats", USS Independen

wait, what is going on here? the original was more accurate. I was hoping they correct the rainbow colors. From the aircraft's pictures the tail tip should not be grey!

I don't see that to be true, HA1910 is being sold for $450, but CW-001604 dumped real bad, it even goes on sale many times but it is still on the shelves.

Re: Hobby Master HA3829 USAF F-16C Fighting Falcon, 22nd FS Commander's Jet, Feb 2007

the Duluth viper is not the same as how HM painted the SP viper. Haveglass grey is close to the F-35 and has a shine to it. My conclusion is that HM paint for the SP viper is accurate.

Re: Hobby Master HA3829 USAF F-16C Fighting Falcon, 22nd FS Commander's Jet, Feb 2007

haveglass is a project HM didn't start yet but it is planned. The picture above illustrates that HM's paint is accurate. Those wolfpacks are definitely not haveglass.
