Re: Herpa Icelandair "Hekla Aurora" announced

I do have a Herpa 747-400 with plastic parts, but the Herpa 757s that I have are all metal except gears and engines, just like r3500vdp's.

Re: Herpa Icelandair "Hekla Aurora" announced

I see a lot of talk about this model being (mostly/partly) plastic? Can someone confirm this? I have two Herpa 757s in 1/400 and they both have metal wings and stabs.

Re: Show your latest 1/400 purchase

I think they're Hogan's 1:200. They're too detailed for 1:400.

You can see Dragon's 1:400 F-15 here (https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/modeldatabase/detailview-15642.html). And looking at the...

From my experience with a GJ Delta 757, acetone will not immediately remove the blue underbelly colour. It takes a good deal of rigorous rubbing to make the blue go away, or perhaps a long soak in...

Re: century wings - sr71 blackbird u.s.a.f. 9th srw 61-7958 1990

So I picked this up today, my first CW SR-71... and I'm a little concerned by the engine inlet cones. Almost every picture (to be fair, mostly CG pictures) I've seen show these as pointing 'inwards'...

Re: New Swiss 777 Livery (Ugly IMHO)

So it's still not a "new" livery. Just a promotional for their first 777.

Re: New Swiss 777 Livery (Ugly IMHO)

Are you sure this is a "new" livery? It looks more like promotional decals applied to the standard livery.
