Re: AeroClassics Speculations for August 2019

Continental DC-9-30 in Texas International Hybrid colors. Great colors on a fantastic mould. A kind of model I loooove Aeroclassics to do.

Re: NG Model - 1:400 July 2019 Release Photographs

Re: Show your latest 1/400 purchase

Too-thin titles or not, I'll keep this one in the hope that NG does a 747-100/200 mould and makes a corrected one. :) If I had the equipment, I would paint-correct the titles on the BB1 model myself....

The Continental red meatball livery was a beautiful 80's updating of a 70's classic. It really dressed up aprons. The globe livery is bland and not a worthy successor. Maybe if there had been lots of...

Re: Show your latest 1/400 purchase

The real deal for BOAC in 1:400: BigBird 400 747-100, made in 2006. 747's of this quality have never been matched. Hoping NG models makes a mould to match, and surpass, it soon.

Hoping not. But this month certainly looks like a more typical Gemini month.

Still waiting for a Lufthansa new-livery 747-8.

Is the OP perhaps referring to the dreadful Phoenix version of the BOAC livery 744?

Gemini's 744 mould is good, but the awful engine pylon-front joints to the wing need to be updated.
