Re: Aeroclassics March 2020 are a go--Speculations

My guesses:

- 1 aircraft registered in Canada
- 1 aircraft registered in Ireland (Eire)
- Lots from the US
- 1 each from Brazil, the Philippines and Venezuela.

Re: NG please don't let standards slip!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. LOL

In other words: wishing those who actually need to massively improve their own products would not even talk about their competitors.

Rather reminds me of Mandarin Airlines or something.

Interestingly, Kinshasa Airways did not last too long in the early 2000's and was a cargo-only airline. Don't know what they ever flew inside...

Re: AC200 JAL DC-8-61 Photos

That forward antenna got v-e-r-y short and that box art depicts the -70 version in the last picture, but it's a really good looking model.

Well-known policy of earlier times, Schabak was the biggest airline-contracted manufacturer of scale models back in the 1980’s. They wouldn’t release any new model - and of course no new mould -...

Re: Aeroclassics February 2020 Releases

As for the TAP 727-200, there was an almost unique feature on the actual TAP fleet which was marked by a belly in shiny bare metal in front of the wings and a light grey belly right behind the wings....

Re: NG Tristars we still might need

‘Toyish’ is the best word to describe it. It was released almost exactly 19 years ago for the Modelling Fair (‘Intermodellbau’) in Dortmund, Germany, in 2001.

I vote for a LTU -500 by NG too!

Apart from short-lived specials, there’s Pan Am and United for the ‘N’ reg, and British Airways, British Airtours, Caledonian, and Court Line as possibilities for the ‘G’ regs.
