Re: Qantas And Emirates - Jumping together into bed.

I think QF are shooting themselves in the foot, and this marks the beginning of the end of their stance in the long haul market out of Australia.

Re: First metal A330 in 1/200

What's with the bizarre, awkwardly elongated forward wing root? The nose profile and cockpit windows are way off, too. I know it's only a sample, but if history is anything to go by, I doubt much...

Re: Photo of phx saa a340-200 please!

Forget about the tiny details - what about grossly obvious ones, like where the wing joins the fuselage? I'd use the Phoenix A342 mould as a door stop and not much else.

Re: phoenix a330-200 Pro's and Con's?

It is a great mould, but Phoenix QC is very hit and miss. The Virgin Australia A332 was my first PH A330, and the only issue I had with it was that it was tail heavy. Had to make some modifications...

The SQ is my first Phoenix A345 as well, and it's excellent. Got the SQ A330 as well... The only thing that irks me is that they can never keep the colours for SQ models consistent.

As far as QC goes, are you talking about the paint colours? The cheatlines on Phoenix SQ models are almost always different. This looks totally different to my 77W and A380, but I still love it. :D

If you know the departure time, you can track the flight on flightradar24.com (http://www.flightradar24.com/) and it'll also tell you the aircraft reg (if the outbound airport has coverage).
