Default Inflight200 JAL DC-8 HIDAKA????

JA8032 is SHIGA, not HIDAKA.
Or HIDAKA is JA8048, DC-8-61, not 8032, DC-8-62......
But I want this,
If you have her to go PM me please..

Did IF200 ever make it? Database only shows JA8032 and nothing comes up for JA8048.

Yes, you are right.
IF200 made JA8032, which I want to get.

I found my original thread was very confusing, so let me clarify it.
IF200 made JA8032 printed "HIDAKA".
But AFAIK the actual ship name of JA8032 is "SHIGA".
And the actual registration number of "HIDAKA" is JA8048, which no major manufacture has made. .....

.......I wonder I should better ask Martin to make the right one.............

I have sold both of my IF200 JAL DC8s for the average price listed here on the DAC database ... $118 and $143 respectively.

I received several PMs from interested parties but nobody offered to pay any more than those prices, so the models went to the first person who actually offered to send the payment.

The models are now on their way to their new owner in China.

You can guess my budget for it. I PMd Henry in early stage. At that moment it was available. I thought we got the deal and had some additional communication. When he posted "model sold" I thought it was sold to me without any doubt but actually it was sold to other person. I was panicked and sent a nasty PM and post but when I re-read my PM conversation I recognized that the expression was not crystal clear and I understood that he did not get my real intention. So I deleted the post and needed to send the PM with apology even though I did not get tha model. It is really shame, I was suffered from my poor English capability..

You'll find them one day. Not at the price these two went for unfortunately. I'm still searching for the JAL Cargo DC-8-62 which does appear on forums for sale and on eBay, but I've always been too late.
$500 for the pair is about what would be expected from a seller. Current market value that is. AV200 is using the Inflight mold for another pair of JAL DC-8-62s that are already available in some parts of the world. It's the later scheme, not the delivery Inflight200 livery. Good luck in your hunt for the Inflight200s

Sorry guys!! I made another mistake.

I have found JA8032 was started as "SHIGA" but changed her name to "HIDAKA" later........ JA8048 was planned to be called "HIDAKA" but the acutal name might not be given.....

SORRY IF200!!! YOU ARE RIGHT!!!!!

If the current market value is $500 for these two models how come the values listed in DAC database are $118 and $143?

And how come when I listed the models nobody was willing to offer more than those figures?

I originally did not want to list them on ebay because I didn't want to line ebay's pockets with high selling fees. And I thought by selling to people on this website I would get fair market price. I was completely wrong.

As such, I am not going to sell any more of my diecasts via this website. I'll list them all on ebay.

A brand new release of an IF200 DC-8 is MORE than what is presented on the "value guide" for older models that are not manufactured any more. Now, having said that, some models have dropped to the bottom of the curve. Some don't. The JAL pair as far as I know haven't dropped in value. Only increased.

If someone wants as big money as possible eBay selling is the best.
There are some points here IMO,

(1)The Average price in DAC data base usually look far lower than the eBay finishing price. The eBay finishing price is not the average price. That is the HIGHEST PRICE IN THE WORLD AT THAT MOMENT (as Robert stated it is just among the people who are aware that's on eBay at that moment, so of course you have a risk.....). Even if only TWO people in the WHOLE WORLD badly wish the model the price will be rising up incredibly and rest of the world will be surprised....or simply laugh at that.

(2)There are two kinds of people who is checking this "Sale or Trade" forum.
A. People who do not want to pay eBay crazy price. These people will not offer you very high price and if the price is unreasonably high these people will not buy.
B. People who searched and searched every web-shop in every countries eBay and Auction but could not find the model he wish. Usually these kind of people tends to buy even if you offer the very expensive price.

Just a thought......
